Wolf pups in Karuk territory

The “Whaleback Pack”, as colonial agencies are calling them. Are living in Karuk territory, delivered a historic litter of pups in 2022. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed the pack added 8 pups this year, the largest known litter of wolf pups in over 100 years!

The “Whaleback” Pack now sits at 10 known wolves after the male gray wolf, dubbed OR-85, mated with the female for the second time in two years. With the wolf pack delivering 15 pups in just two years of living in Karuk territory. This would not have been possible without the constant devotion of Mko the Invisible Warrior to resisting the colonial wolf slaughter. I.S.R take credit for this victory. We know full well it is us who are responsible for future generations to experience wolves outside of colonial national parks. To even be able to experience them west of the Rockies is because i myself the invisible warrior was present to fight them since the first wolves stepped over the so called “Oregon” border. A generation will experience megafauna and apex predators. We were also responsible for getting the first grizzly bear reintroduced into the northern cascade mountains. Colonial agencies and NGOs try to credit for some of these victories, but they weren’t even present for the physical confrontation element and fail to acknowledge indigenous revolutionaries because their careers depend on stealing our accolades.

There are 3 wolf packs total in so called California. The only other known pack in to live in Siskiyou County this century was the Shasta Pack, which have been missing since 2018. There are currently multiple investigations pertaining to the suspicious disappearance of the wolves. Colonists’ inability to protect wolves to the extent of losing entire wolf packs is a perfect example of how their negligence forfeit their duty back to the rightful stewards who should have been in control of wildlife conservation in the first place. Colonists investigating colonists is a terrible power dynamic. Leaving wildlife conservation in the hands of the same people whose colonial violence made them extinct in the first place. These anticolonial truths about wildlife conservation can only be made real by I.S.R the fledgling pan indigenous government.

Wolf numbers are higher than they have been in 100 years thanks to I.S.R repeatedly and thru great obstacles continued to confront them, showing up again and again often in rural hard to reach places. These kinds of ecological struggles don’t take place at the park in New Jersey, downtown Chicago or so-called Portland Oregon. Those who were there know i spent a decade very uncomfortable and struggling as a result of my persistence in resistance. /Takes a bow. Your welcome.

If your interested in wildlife conservation from an anticolonial analysis you should join I.S.R.

  1. I am in awe of what you have accomplished! Please tell me how I can join this group. I’ve been a wolf advocate for over 40 years, & always feel the need to do more.
