Keystone Species

In response to The killing of 1 alpha male and 3 pups. “Oregon” Fish And Wildlife on 2 permits and by helicopter. The illegitimate stewards are at it again. The colonial practice of raising invasive European bovine. Ecocide. Removing keystone species is suicide. Wolf is sacred to many indigenous peoples Genocide. One of the things in this case that really pissed me off was it seemed to have no time lapse between when the announcement was made on the ODFW website and when the helicopter went out on the second permit. The permit was on “private” land so stolen ndn land which people need to be reminded of. Its hard to react to something like this since the offices are closed due to covid. I pride myself at being ready at a moments notice. I had a short time to try to rally people in response. I had planned to camp out at the office to try to change the decision but it was too late. I resent being reactive and coming in after the fact while i prefer to be proactive. Realizing it been 10 months since i had been to this office. It also makes it impossible to change things physically with the hunt because its done by wildlife agents on private land and by helicopter. They know they are wrong. Nothing will remedy the situation except building power.

“A people without authority and power are a people without respect”. Marcus Garvey

The left suffers for its disunity. Indigenous people suffer from their lack of unity. The whole planet suffers from disunity and some are in love with it. They have found a way to benefit from it. I challenge this pattern and lay a pathway against it. 7 group rules. 7 barriers to unity identified. It seems like tension is likely to build in coming years around climate catastrophe, any social group not talking about that isn’t very social. And people are still overcoming their skewed priorities, nepotism, jealousy. Some are the limitations of tribalism some people want to play family feud more than they want to be a keystone species. Planet issues are people issues. We are not done suffering for our disunity.

“We cannot protect that 7 generations without protecting the planet”. John Trudell

I was daydreaming as i do and using the radical imagination to dream up a better future. I dreamt of one where indigenous people are in control of our own destinies on our own land. I dreamt of us being in control of immigration. I thought of what it would be like to deport colonists that refuse indigenous rule by ship. I dreamt of what it would be like to put some of the remaining ones on trial. I thought would it not be appropriate to see some of these unapologetic colonists in leg irons and force them to plant trees and remove invasive plants. Indeed. If they do well at that we could step them down to the tree farm another year. Perhaps talk about rehabilitation at that point if they can stop being exploitive and we remove their power to do so. Reverse the curse? Ironic? Humorous? I will struggle to bring this dream into reality. Much work to be done.

We sharpen our political analysis and make daily steps to build political power. We understand full well that wolves are necessary for the restoration of Turtle Island and will never rest until that is a reality. Our descendants will see colonialism sweep thru this continent like a wildfire and burn itself out. If it takes years we will see it thru. The empire is collapsing. The vampire feeding off our lives and resources is in its death throws. It has no sustainable future; now exposed to the world to see. Despite all threats and setbacks we set our resolve and nothing can stop us. We will be keystone species again.

Culture Of Resistance Elements

This blog entry is designed to serve as a quick reference for members as well as a recruiting tool for potential new members of I.S.R. Illahee Spirit Runners (I.S.R) is the most active indigenous resistance group on the continent. It was formed by The Invisible Warrior over a decade. It is my belief that some things should be vague. We operate largely off of faith. We will retain our mystery. Here are some easy tips for those who are new or thinking of joining. We ofcourse encourage you to build community with us. You cannot be in solidarity with people you have no relationship with.

  1. I.S.R colors are yellow and blue, this is a throwback to the Ghost Dance and original Ghost Shirt are yellow and blue.
  2. We strongly believe in self defense. Martial arts are MANDATORY in our pack.
  3. The I.S.R logo, wolf with lightning coming out of the mouth is a symbol of truth.
  4. I.S.R is coast to coast, continent wide. (International people may join some committees)
  5. Non indigenous people may join and even reach officer rank. Highest ranks are indigenous only.
  6. I.S.R are committed to the restoration of indigenous plants.
  7. I.S.R has an apparatus that can lead towards world peace from within the belly of the beast.
  8. 8. I.S.R have a pathway to unite all races on Turtle Island
  9. I.S.R have a pathway to end homelessness on Turtle Island
  10. I.S.R seek to have indigenous peoples in control of immigration on Turtle Island
  11. I.S.R has a pathway to unite multiple resistance groups and warrior societies into a super pack.
  12. I.S.R believes in free medicine for people on Turtle Island.
  13. I.S.R believes in the abundance of Turtle Island and seek to eliminate food scarcity.
  14. I.S.R is a high discipline super pack. Discipline, self determination, courage and building power are our answers for almost everything. This is why other people have theories and we have moved on to pathways and tactics. We don’t play. Designed this way. Join the best team today.

Illahee Spirit Runners Pan Indigenous Alliance believe all Fish And Wildlife, Department Of Natural Resources, B.L.M, U.S Fish And Wildlife and all agencies disbanded and turned over intact including all tools, vehicles and computers to us the rightful stewards of Turtle Island.

What Happens To Wolf Happens To Humankind

Wolf Species: Arctic Wolf, Mexican Grey Wolf, Mckenzie Valley Wolf (Alaska), Tundra Wolf, Frican Golden Wolf(North Africa), Eurasian Wolf, Timber Wolf, Steppe Wolf, New Guinea Singing Dog, Northern Rocky Mountain Wolf, Iberian Wolf

Endangered Wolf Species: Ethiopian Wolf, Red Wolf(Carolina), Mexican Grey Wolf, Maned Wolf, Indian Wolf, Tibetan and Himalayan Wolf, Arabian Wolf (Yemen, Southern Israel) Mongolian Wolf, Vancouver Island Wolf, Hudson Bay Wolf, Alexander Archipelago Wolf, Baffin Island Wolf, Greenland Wolf, Labrador Wolf,

“Wolf is the ultimate anti colonial symbol. Wherever humans have tried to industrialize they have come into conflict with the 73 species of wolf on the planet.” Invisible Warrior

Extinct wolf species: Hokkaido Wolf (Japan), Kenai Peninsula Wolf (Alaska), Cascade Mountains Wolf (PNW) Illahee, Florida Black Wolf, Texas Wolf, Newfoundland Wolf, Sicilian Wolf (Italy), Honsho Wolf (Japanese Iles), Mongolian Wolf (Southwestern), Great Plains Wolf, Northern Rocky Mountain Wolf, Southern Rocky Mountain Wolf, Tasmanian Wolf, English Wolf, Southern Rocky Mountains Wolf, Manitoba Wolf, Banks Island Wolf

The species that have been driven to extinction happened directly as a result of colonialism in specific the colonial practice of raising domestic livestock. Hunting, trapping, poison. Wherever colonist go there is a trail of extinction. It should serve as a warning sign. Shoot the messenger you shoot yourself. Wolf habitat is human habitat. If only we could remember how to be a keystone species. As it says in the Anishinabe wolf story: What happens to wolf happens to humankind.

For Agnes

Indigenous resistance and allies raise awareness about restoring water quality, and salmon populations. The Siletz river and others are dying, in part because the E.P.A is selling sewage mixed with industrial and medical waste as a cheap fertilizer. The effects of this are not limited to the runoff getting in the river. Elk have been getting deformed hooves in the area and it potentially been linked to the biosolids and spraying by timber companies.. Colonial wildlife agents have had to come and put several of the down as there ability to walk severely impaired their ability to live. Years ago i wrote about a fisher i interviewed who explained how the river was dying. I know that indeed a river can die. In fact a Paiute medicine person taught me how to see the spirit of the river.

My native brain can’t help but to see food and medicine wherever i go. It is partly the colonial false scarcity to blame. Colonialism run rampant contaminating everything. There are numerous berries and edible plants everywhere only one now must wonder if they are safe to eat. Abundant medicine here including a temperate rainforest plant that can heal trauma. The Siletz bay has clams and people are still coming and digging them up to eat. Clams are like natural filters. The water quality from the biosolids will effect them. This was an ancient food source. The Siletz river is one of the last great salmon runs on the west coast. The natives who fished here were the Yacona. By the time colonists reached the west coast they reported a group of just under 90 Yacona natives who survived the plagues brought by colonists. The sloped heads and the significance of Mother Quartux as we know are explained in the Kalapuya wolf story oral tradition.

The clams must be contaminated its just impossible for them not to be and that’s not even factoring in Fukashima. People still eat the clams especially indigenous but also the poor. There is a world famous restaurant here and it its largest location on the Siletz Bay. Colonial theft of this ancient food source made the colonists rich. They sell an English recipe clam chowder. White supremacy in food that we have been conditioned to enjoy. The colonial chowder has turned toxic and it is past time for the land to go back to the #RightfulStewards. And we don’t mean anything neocolonial we mean the actual #RightfulStewards as explained in our group rule #1. Senator Merkley will now portray himself as a white savior and grant money but this hand is forced by the persistence and courage of the indigenous resistance. Honor is ours. All credit goes to the great mystery.

The indigenous resistance was able to make sure the message was seen and heard for miles. Traffic was backed up for miles without having to block traffic. Fellow comrades alike were amazed at the scouting ability of the Invisible Warrior and in a disbelief we did so much with so little. I burned sacred medicines including the finest Paiute copal. Many recordings of Grandmother Agnes speaking were played on the loudspeaker. She told me to carry on her teachings so i did exactly verbatim what she told me to do and then i went ahead and applied it. Physical traits of the land and the water lend themselves to our cause. The great mystery and the living world are on our side. Many people were angry at us. Ugly hateful colonists. But more people were happy, excited, encouraging members of the resistance. A look of relief in some and you could sense a willingness for the public to embrace this struggle. Thats what corporate news wont tell you. Is that some of the masses do support this. How could they not they have all been touched by the sacredness of the salmon. Salmon are an essential part of a healthy ecosystem. Grandmother Agnes would have told you the salmon even when they die continue to feed all living things. Being over a year since her passing it is appropriate to speak about her and bring these issues up. It is time for a physical manifestation of her teachings. A traditional woman form Siletz has expressed an interest in reviving the salmon ceremony and i told her we would help her bring that to reality.

Pacific salmon could become extinct in our lifetimes, like the Atlantic salmon; if we do not take action to end colonialism”. Invisible Warrior

Salmon Nations Rise Up! Join Illahee Spirit Runners in actuality or collaboration.

Political pressure is building around the Siletz river and the dumping of biosolids and ultimately its from the resistance. Neo colonials and NGO’s will always try to claim credit but political change requires force anyone who doesn’t understand that is an amateur. Some barriers to restoration include the Dawes Allotment Act which has left Siletz fractured. This may interfere with their ability to implement things like a composting toilet program that would save millions of gallons of water. An iron grip remains on the populace form elements of KKK and white colonists attempting to set up a white utopia in the so called pacific northwest. The politicians in local government have been getting ahead by subjugating the indigenous people as a matter of policy and basic course of action for so long that its not questioned. Restoration was finally granted by Ronald Regan but only after the tribe bought up so much land around their graveyard that they could no longer be denied. The republican party is still pulling strings in tribal government to this day which is why change must come from the people themselves.

“Indigenous rule will unite the races on Turtle Island” Invisible Warrior

After the action i went to the Siletz graveyard and put tobacco on Chief DePoe’s grave, his wifes grave who is the grandmother of our Co Founder and from the undefeated Chickasaw nation. I put an offering on Agnes’s grave. This took a while to locate and i left a generous offer of whole cigars. When i think of resistance in Illahee i think of Chief John. John who would not surrender and was eventually sent to Alcatraz prison for plotting uprisings against the colonist. He was only returned to Grand Ronde after he was considered too old to be a threat but colonists were weary of him until his death. John had the backbone to tell these colonists to their face he told them the colonists had people foold to thinking their ways were great and he said we will see how great your ways are 250 years from now. It is now 250 years later and we can see for ourselves. I asked myself before i took action and i will ask the Siletz Confederation the same question. What would Chief John (Tecumtum) do?

Shock In The East

“This past week, members of the Illahee Spirit Runners answered a call to action & threw down in solidarity with Appalachians Against Pipelines, & affiliated comrades from the surrounding region! Folks in Appalachia have been fighting the Mountain Valley {natural gas} Pipeline (MVP) for about six years, with a myriad of diverse tactics from petitions, to tree sits, to ground land occupations, protests, marches & other various forms of direct action✊…
While those contracted to build the MVP habitually lie to satisfy their investors by stating that the pipeline is over 70% finished, it surely is NOT, in large part due to YEARS of persistent & evolving direct action that has halted pipeline construction, one of these actions most notably being the almost three year tree sit & free-state created on seemingly sympathetic land-owner’s private property, who was given a notice of “Eminent Domain’ by MVP workers stating that the pipeline would criss their land whether the land owner opposed it or not…
A series of unlikely allyships during the struggle were most definitely a key to some of the struggles long-standing success, & hopefully certainly will continue to be, especially in the realms of returning land back to grassroots indigenous people historically from that territory & New River Watershed.
The Illahee Spirit Runners were happy to help support direct action that once again halted over NINE HOURS of racist resource colonial pipeline work, & will answer the call again if need be!

Reclaiming Our Power Symbols From Fascism

Recently a bright young communist asked me about the wolf and lightning symbols that we use for Spirit Runners. He called them into question as “fascist iconography”. I was trying to recruit this person so i took the time to struggle around the the question. This post is an expansion to that question.

I was able to respond by letting the young communist know that the wolf and the lightning are our power symbols and were taking them and everything they ever stole from us back. I went on to explain that the wolf and the lightning was revealed to me in a vision and that in the old days a great deal of importance was placed on leaders having a vision. I don’t explain all parts of the vision in one place especially to a colonist so i told him my regular quote.

“Wolf is the ultimate anti colonial symbol. Wherever people have tried to industrialize they have come into conflict with the 73 species of wolf on the planet”. Invisible Warrior

This interaction caused me to do more research because honestly i do not know the extent to which fascists and white supremacists operating as neo pagans. My observation is that neo pagans are not necessarily fascists but walking a fine line some are and some are not. It is also worthy of mention the corruption of the swaztica which is actually an indigenous power symbol that was stolen from us against our will.

Further research brings me to a concept known as the wolfsangel or wolf’s hook or wolfs anchor. Apparently this is a runic symbol believed to be able to ward of wolves. Nazis appropriated the symbol for ss units. This is also derived from a trap concept where a zig zag piece of metal is swallowed by a wolf as a wolf trap of sorts then connected by a chain.

This symbol was believed to have magical powers. The fascists are confused as to weather they revere the wolf or not. One minute they are deriving power from the death of my relative and the next they are trying to name guerilla units after werewolves. Turns out Guerilla units terrorized allied troops towards the end of WWII. They caused a great deal of fear. German guerilla fighters were ready to take action. In the end of the war Hitler and senior officers turned toward the supernatural. They created to wolf units. Paramilitary. Hitler called his eastern lair as the Wolfs Den. Nazis were drawing off of the wildness of the untame wolf. The same way we do. After all there were 73 species of wolf on the planet as i explained earlier. We are the guerilla units around here on Turtle Island. It is us who refuse to be tame. To learn and organize like the wolf teaches. The symbol of the wolf is crucial to the restoration of the tribes and we refuse to allow fascists to control the narrative on these power symbols. The lightning to us is a symbol of truth. Coming from the mouth of the wolf. It can destroy but also lightning puts nitrogen into the ground so that plants can grow. We are one of the most stolen from races on earth. We are taking back everything colonists ever stole from us. Again we will not tell the entirety of our wolf vision here because of co-optation and tribal belief. Suffice to say the lightning coming from the mouth of the wolf is a symbol of truth. It is a trademark of Illahee Spirit Runners. The Indigenous Resistance.

And when you think of wolves and lightning. Think about the indigenous resistance. We reclaim, restore and harness the power of the wolf and the lightning.

Victory! Wolf Pups in “California”

Two wolf packs have new wolf pups on Shasta, Nisenan, Yana, Eastern Pomo, and Atsugewi and Hoopa territory in so called California. Each pack having six pups each. Illahee Spirit Runners claim victory!

For a decade since wolves were first released in the wild after their extinction in 1953 Illahee Spirit Runners have been staked to the ground like Cheyenne dog soldiers in their attempts to protect wolves in the wild. From when they were first reintroduced, to the first confirmed wolf packs on Nimiipuu, Paiute, Warm Springs, Wasco territories in so called “Oregon”. We were there. Feet on the ground. Many of us relocating our lives and dedicating ourselves to the confrontation of the illegitimate wildlife agencies that only serve the interest of colonization and exploitation. We did all of this making confrontation hundreds of times, raising awareness, applying political pressure, encouraging tribes to unite over the issue while astroturf organizations that did not even seek to confront colonialism mobilized to take all the resources away from the issue before anyone else could get any even though they were funded by the Koch brothers. We showed up again and again, made great sacrifice, experienced great loss and police terrorism. We dealt with the death threats because unlike white conservationists the right wing wolf killer groups fully understand the connection indigenous peoples have with wolves. We faced the army, state troopers from two different states, had run ins with homeland security, were threatened by armed rangers, we faced the horse cavalry and were tossed out of offices and had chemical weapons used on us. Not the white ngos. (Non governmental organization) They were in their offices. We don’t even have offices. many of us are homeless or struggling and we get more done on less. Our education is better and its free. These ngos. have nothing on us and they know it. I was running from black helicopters and drones while they were at brunch. The most active indigenous resistance group on the continent is run by a homeless indigenous man and new leaders hes training and building power with. Our suffering has made us strong and they should fear the day we get control over our own destinies including immigration and run them off OUR continent. Red Power!

Right now European ran “conservation” orgs. are claiming victory for the same wolf pups. We openly challenge that myth, the myth that perpetuates the invisibilization of the indigenous resistance and attempts to paint colonists as the saviors to colonialism. In fact all our water was drinkable prior to contact with Europeans as elder Floyd Redcrow Westerman taught us. And within 100 years all that water was contaminated. From my own experiences on the front lines of the wolf struggle i know that every lake river and stream in so called “Idaho” now tests positive for e. coli. This is caused by the colonial practice of raising invasive European bovine on indigenous Turtle Island. We find it absurd to think that colonists will save Turtle Island from colonialism. That concept is disgusting to me. These same colonists at European led non profits etc. are the same ones that throw a feast and celebrate the largest genocide on the planet to which they profit from daily as they masquerade as stewards of the land when #RightfulStewards are further disempowered by white supremacists acting under the guise of environmentalism. By now it is known about connections to white supremacist think tanks such as Yale university who used conservation to act out a eugenics program that conserves park lands for use by white Nordic peoples. We seen this continued under Jim Crow laws but also that our indigenous hunting grounds were made into parks such as Grand Teton national park which would directly cause starvation and forced removal. They feast to our death come thanksgiving. They seek to naturalize themselves to our continent replacing us as stewards making us unnecessary. Indigenous rule seeks to overturn this colonial violence. The indigenous resistance speaks the shocking truth. The European ran orgs. claiming victory won’t even talk to us in reality and have no relationship with us. We are not an org we are the indigenous resistance. You cannot be in solidarity with people you have no relationship with.

To the indigenous resistance and the indigenous resistance alone goes this victory in restoration. Revolution means physical and material change and revolution has manifested itself in the form of sacred baby wolf pups. Red Power! All credit is given to the Great Mystery.

ODFW kills wolf pups!

“Oregon” Department Fish And Wildlife. Killed 2 wolf pups from a helicopter and issue kill orders for more. The wolves were from a pack called “lookout pack” by colonists. The rancher has the permit until August 21. This is a few years after scientists walked out of ODFW meeting in protest. Now even the colonists are calling to abolish wildlife services calling them unfit and able to site countless reference as to why. U.S.F.W.S kills up to 35,000 wild animals a year and with tax payer money for what thats worth. This is a good time to remind ODFW and the world our intentions to seize control over wildlife on our own continent. This is just another step in getting control over our own destinies on our own land. By our land we means the entire continent of turtle island including pacific islands such as Hawaii back in the control of the #rightfulstewards.

We do not seek to destroy property as some groups do. We view Fish And Wildlife, B.L.M, Department Of Natural resources to be in fact our and its up to us as the rightful stewards to see fit how to use them in a benevolent way under indigenous rule. We must also report that these agencies fear that kind of political analysis far more than they fear vandalism believe that. At Illahee Spirit Runners we understand how to wield the truth as a weapon. Sometimes its all we have and often its all we need. The lightning coming out of the mouth of the wolf is a symbol of truth that belongs to Illahee Spirit Runners. We also want to be clear that we are against neo colonialism and will not fall for the empire serving antics of Deb Haaland or other petty bourgeoisie sellouts to confuse the issue. We are not fooled here. We are insulted at the repeated attempts to fool our people with neo colonialsim. We mean as stated in our group rule number one the full restoration of pre colonial indigenous governance. If the killing of these wolves angers you and makes you furious then you are friends of ours. I want you to take action with your anger this time though. We want to encourage you to join Illahee Spirit Runners indigenous resistance. We are recruiting coast to coast across the entire Turtle Island. Do not waste your anger. It is precious and sacred. Channel it towards total resistance.

Indigenous led. All races welcome. Contact Mko Vieux

I.S.R Group Rules

  1. No neo colonialism: We do not seek to be mayor or president but by self-determination, install and build a fledgling pan indigenous government. More info: So much of our cultures are invisible to non-natives and they may not know we still have governance and organizations still in place today that predate the arrival of Europeans. If we had cities like Cahokia, then we surely had governments. Politics separate from Europeans Some of those groups may include but not limited to Iroquois Confederacy, Three Council Fires. Smaller representations may include tobacco societies. In fact, it was “America” and Russia that stole pieces of Turtle Island political systems then altered them and passed them off as their own. Furthermore, the restoration aspect of this also includes restoring our indigenous spirituality from the damage caused by missionaries, doctrine of discovery, residential schools that nearly destroyed our nations and remain a daily barrier to decolonization and the ability for indigenous peoples to get control over our own destinies on our own land. Neo colonialism is plaguing Turtle Island sellouts we got natives running for president of the empire and a native in the department of the interior. This undermines indigenous governance. We view colonial government and government agencies as illegitimate. Neocolonialism is the empire creating a sub class of petty bourgeoisie that look like colonized people but serve the empire by allowing them to exploit from a distance. We are not fooled by identity politics, and we intend to seize power for ourselves. Let’s build power and an apparatus for decolonization. Let’s get things done while these neo-colonial sellouts with the blood of their own people on their hands try to run for office.
  2. No tone policing/ peace policing: You can be as angry as you want to be as long as you don’t incriminate yourself or others in the group. Anger is an appropriate catalyst for change. People have been programmed to tone police. Indigenous people have been tone policed so long that we now tone police each other normalize it and try to pass it off as traditional. This is incorrect when I speculate about the source of this, I think it must be the residential schools. The nuns don’t have to smack our hands with a ruler anymore because we do it to each other. Quelling righteous anger does the work of the oppressor for them, it merely enforces the status quo. Tone policing is liberalism. Angry slaves and so hostile natives were first to be punished. I.S.R is a place for constructive anger. Be angry, be safe. Let’s get things done while other people are tone policing the crap out of each other into impotence.
  3. No anti Africa: We seek to unite with African and other oppressed groups and will work with anyone who agrees with indigenous rule. We recognize that anti African sentiments within the indigenous community are rampant. We find it a barrier to unity. The oppressor benefits from frictions between our two groups. We seek afro indigenous membership. We believe in indigenous rule and will work with anyone who believes in indigenous rule regardless of race. We are convinced that indigenous rule will unite the races on Turtle Island. We want to get things done while other people fight each other.
  4. No colorism: There’s a lot more to being native than blood quantum. Colorism is another barrier to unity in the movement. It stinks of the colonial practice of disenrollment. This becomes exasperated when settlers are trying to decide who is native and who is not. At Illahee Spirit Runners we will have none of this. We will accept low blood quantum natives, mixed race natives. Sometimes there are full bloods who can’t speak the language or can’t play any songs etc. then you find someone who is 1 1/16 who knows both. So, we do not engage in colorism. We learned from historical materialism that we need light skinned members to win. We have been made aware that African militants have been denied membership to African militant spaces for having European mothers. We see colorism as a barrier to unity. We are concerned with developing a winning politic. Colorism serves white supremacy and colonialism We get things done while others fight over blood quantum.
  5. No gender sparring: We understand that there are up to seven genders and all of them are sacred. We seek the balance and unity of all seven genders. We became aware from Lakota star knowledge that there are up to 7 genders and all of them are sacred. We seek to keep gender balanced and seek the participation of all 7 genders. Threats to the planet and our races and nations are paramount. Gender sparring is seen as unproductive use of time while we still haven’t won the revolution. Gender sparring is discouraged and can eventually after several warnings result in being asked to leave the organization. We refuse to let the overall movement spend this next decade fighting over the bathroom. Climate catastrophe deem that we are out of time. At Illahee Spirit Runners we get things done while others are fighting over gender. We understand we need all genders to win.
  6. No astroturf: We understand that many groups including indigenous ones are now funded by corporations such as ExxonMobil and the Koch bros or even the two-party system. We seek to remain true grassroots independent of corporatocracy and the non-profit industrial complex. This is one of the great deceptions in the movement. Controlled opposition. Corporations so big they can create fake grassroots organizations. Many times, these organizations have better advertising and also are skilled at fundraising and will remove all resources from a community on a topic before benevolent actual grassroots organizations can respond. Some of these are even indigenous orgs. and N.G.Os. world bankers, and corporations. Are the same ones starting water wars around the planet funding your favorite N.G.O? Were they involved in eugenics? And for whom do they want to protect the environment for? At Illahee Spirit Runners we will have none of this. We will remain grassroots and hustle art, and tacos if we have to before we will ever sell out. We get things done while other people are selling out}
  7. No Militarism: We understand that the u.s military is the largest polluter on the planet, and one cannot claim allegiance to the earth and support the military. We seek to venerate land defenders not veterans of oil wars and empire. Now they are trying to make new mines for lithium, and they are using up all the biofuel in Brazil on their aircraft carriers. They have to diversify fuel sources because they use so much it would deplete entire fuel sources. Clearly this is a contradiction to anyone trying to defend the land. Furthermore, there is not currently a draft. There is a restoration element to this because many of our ancestors including my many of own have been forced into fighting wars for the oppressor. It has caused us unmeasurable trauma that has rippled through our generations. We’re not talking about it were showing you how. Heal this generational trauma and correct this pattern by no longer venerating veterans of wars of oil and empire. Venerate land defenders now. Tell the youth to emulate the land defenders. Furthermore, we must acknowledge and bolster the ancient warrior societies that are older than the so-called united states. The ones venerated at the pow wow each year are too busy waving the flag of the oppressor trying to get a leg up with them that they can’t even defend our missing and murdered indigenous. Venerating military vets undermines our warrior prowess and keeps us in a place of disrespect as a people. We will have none of that either and we always seek to venerate pre-colonial and contemporary warrior societies and land defenders. We want to get things done while someone else salutes the flag of the oppressor.)

Sinkholes are created by groundwater depletion. It has been brought to my attention about sinkholes in other places such as Florida (Creek/Seminole) territory also having sinkholes from groundwater depletion and from drinking water being salinated in other areas like San Francisco from groundwater depletion. Often agriculture is the cause and we have been learning that agriculture is one of the causes of slavery and patriarchy. Huge irrigators are sucking up all the aquifers. It is inevitable that more sinkholes will appear possibly near Line 3. Chemicals from modern agriculture are also making the water unsafe to drink. The water is cloudy, it smells.
