Grand jury has indicted Cody Roberts with a true bill. A true bill is when a majority of a grand jury says that there is sufficient evidence to go to trial. He has not been proven guilty, but this shows that the state is confident moving forward. This crime was so vile that even the colony courts are trying him for felony animal charges. Initially hes only been fined 250$ for possessing the wolf. The Cody Roberts incident gives Wyoming a black eye, even other ranchers find it grotesque. Any hunting privileges should be revoked for life, his snowmobile and any equipment used confiscated, a mental evaluation is needed, he should be serving prison time over this one. It’s only fair his neighbors know what he’s been up to for their own safety. If he could do that to an animal he could do it to a person. At I.S.R we understand that these attacks on wolves are actually a colonial hate crime. We would punish him but at I.S.R we do not yet have our own courts, and it may be a very, very long time until we do. We recognize our fledgling state and ask Wyoming to punish him severely and make an example out of Cody Roberts so things like this do not happen in the future and to prevent the further degradation of the psyche of the overall population.
